Mavericks High Schools were established to provide an educational choice to students who have dropped out of school or may be in danger of dropping out. Using 21st Century technology and a focus on individualized attention, Mavericks High Schools offer students, who are challenged by the traditional approach to learning, the opportunity to earn a state-recognized high school diploma. This high-tech high provides students, ages 15-21, a strong research-based curriculum and support for pursuing continuing education or a suitable vocation. Our state’s low graduation rates are unacceptable. Mavericks Highs bring creative solutions to this critical issue through high-quality, personalized education. Students are not only guided to master required skills, they are given the support they need to succeed in the future. Schedules are flexible and the student-to-teacher ratio is low. The self-paced curriculum allows students to progress according to their individual abilities and experience. College dual enrollment is available, as are opportunities to gain hands-on work experience while in high school. Mavericks High, along with Mavericks in Education, is dedicated to designing, developing and delivering out-of-the-box, innovative educational solutions that get results. Our goal is to work in support and partnership of our public and private school system by focusing intently upon the at-risk and dropout student challenge. Our initiatives are focused upon saving thousands of students each year, big solutions to big problems. Mavericks High passionately believes that every student deserves a free, publicly funded education. We recognize that the health of our communities is absolutely dependant upon the academic standing of every member along with their capacity and desire to make a contribution. Environmental and Social ResponsibilityOur Future Our Choice — Teach It, Live It We carefully select our suppliers and partners considering their commitment to the GREEN movement, along with the quality and cost of their products and services. Companies such as Eco Systems Hygiene LLC, a GREEN paper and chemical supply company has been selected to provide our paper and cleaning products, computer suppliers including NComputing, HP, Dell and Apple are providing technology products and a wide range of companies that market lighting, climate control, and other GREEN building materials will be utilized in the construction of our facilities. Each school will also practice good environmental policy which will include a comprehensive recycling program. Four cornerstones of Mavericks High environmental initiatives: Mavericks High recognizes the importance of controlling costs and managing every education dollar in a way in which students receive the greatest possible benefit. We always try to minimize costs. To keep costs low we have to be economical. We conserve paper and supplies materials and energy. Each piece of equipment is also carefully selected for its life-cycle cost and recyclables. Resource Efficiency Training and Engaging Our Co-Workers and Students Committed co-workers are crucial to get a driving force in our environmental effort. Throughout the Mavericks High Organization, we are establishing “environmental coordinators” who will be constantly working in different ways to increase environmental awareness through informing and educating their colleagues and students on a continuous basis.

At Mavericks in Education, we believe passionately in the preservation of our environment as a GREEN company, we are continuously focusing on every aspect of our organization and our educational initiatives. This applies not only to components of our curriculum wherein ecology and recycling are taught, but also to our building design, materials, equipment, controls, and processes as well as many of the products consumed within our offices and our schools.
